Present x Crescent Down Works Down Vest

Just before Christmas I picked up this new collaboration PRESENT has undertaken with American outerwear specialists Crescent Down Works. The collection sees various down vests and 60/40 mountain parkas in an array of vibrant colours for the linings. I saw this down vest, navy outer with orange ripstop lining, as the best in the collection and it is easily now the warmest thing I own. With a shell, such as my new Patagonia Rain Shadow, sitting on top of it it is the perfect outfit to combat the chilly arctic weather we are in the midst of.

Clarks Desert Boots

Through the summer I have had a lot of wear out of my sand desert boots, now however winter has come and I need something new, something a little more wintery and dark. I already own a pair of the tan antique colour-way but these need to be supplemented with another pair; especially as I am wearing trainers less and less nowadays. I have whittled it down to two option, both are defunct and both are similar. Cola or Chestnut? Both are similar price and both are now not in current production, but they are still just left over from previous years at some stores. At the moment I am siding towards the cola (above)

This match is perfect for four reasons

1. I get to see my beloved Arsenal and seeing as i'm in Bristol now I rarely get to use my season ticket, just save it for the big games.

2. Get to meet up with all my London mates and experience one of the stadiums which as of yet I haven't experience

3. Get to go straight to Leeds from Manchester to see my girlfriend who I haven't seen in two weeks

4. I get to see that dirty cheating human being, Adebayor and shout abuse at him for 90 minutes
